The DW Design Series Frequent Flyer is a pro kit that travels easy. Though many portable sets can sound small in a band setting, the Frequent Flyer's narrow, full-sized shells pack the punch of a larger kit — especially under close mics. The secret is a combination of HVLT and HVX maple shells, engineered to bring out the attack and harmonics of the kick, toms, snare, and DW's own lightweight shell hardware, which reduces mass for a big tone.
