Vic Firth's Vintage Snappy 20-strand snare wires are designed to give you more tone and less sympathetic buzz. This allows for more dynamic range from your snare drum, even at the tightest settings. They use Japanese steel with narrower than standard bronze end plates to reduce the spacing between the snare wires so these snare wires can fit both modern and vintage drums. The Vintage Snappy snare wires are available for 14 snare drums with the 20-strand model designed for standard depth drums.
